Who is Crazy Joe?
|
Who is Crazy Joe? First, there's "Crazy" Joe Tritschler, roots music guitarist, singer, songwriter, and occasional drummer, who has toured nationally and internationally with his own Mad River Outlaws as well as roots music legend Deke Dickerson, has released several recordings on the O-Scope Recording Company label, and continues to evolve his unique musical vision of early rock & roll, rockabilly, and original country with dashes of soul, jazz, and R&B; Then there's Joe Tritschler, Emmy Award-winning audio recording engineer, producer, and audiophile, who operates Tritschler Precision Engineering, LLC, near his home base of Enon, Ohio, and has scratch-built nearly every piece of equipment in his all-analog audiophile recording studio, including tube microphones, limiters, monitor amplifiers, loudspeakers, tape recorder electronics, and a hybrid tube/discrete point-to-point-wired console; Finally, there's Dr. Simon Josef Tritschler, Adjunct Professor in the College of Engineering and Computer Science at Wright State University, who has published and manufactures a precision RIAA-equalized phono preamplifier with his own Tritschler Precision Audio Devices, has worked in the defense and aerospace industries in the area of high-reliability electronics, and continues to be captivated by topics in the field ranging from electronics for high-power energy scavenging sensors to minimalist tube guitar amplifiers. Born June 29th, 1979 in Columbus, Ohio, Joe has been playing guitar for more than 25 years; producing and engineering recordings for over 20 years; and designing musical, hi-fi, and recording equipment for well over a decade. A life-long tinkerer of things musical and electronic, it's his equal passion for both and the balance for which he continually strives that truly defines "Doctor Crazy" Joe Tritschler. |
